Bubsy as a Budsie!

     Yes. That's right. I ordered a Bubsy Budsie; say that ten times fast. In case you don't know about the character, long story short, he's a video game mascot where his initial franchise got really bad reception. Because of this, I made him a main character, and the last character in my team, for my imaginary story series, "Quest for Kanzoo". There, he's more serious, like that quote above, but can still come off being kinda cringey sometimes. In the blueprint, there weren't a lot of good shots of him to send to Budsies to have them make the plush. The show had a moment where he had the natural pose that I wanted, but it in bad quality, like the pictures next to it, so I had to shine it up. For MS Paint, it worked well! The eyes, ears and tail I also had to shine up to hope for the best. And I added a close-up shot up him for good measure. So how did it come out?
     Pretty good. Like with Golly, the body is shaped really well, but the face is a bit messy. The white shiners in the eyes are not supposed to be symmetric, the mouth needs to be wider, the tail is a little long, the hair in top of his head in sideways, and the nose is too far away from the eyes which are supposed to be touching. Fortunately, this was another Budsie that I was able to fix myself. I fixed the eye shiner (but I had to put it on with hot glue), I added a black line between the eyes, and I tried to sew the nose closer up. It looks a bit rough above the nose, but I can handle it better than before. I didn't fix the mouth because it wasn't as big of a deal as everything else. And just so you know, there is a black line between the nose and the mouth, it's just covered up by the fabric fur. All in all, this one's not too bad. Budsies just needs to work on their facial featuring.
